Art Camp

Ages 7 to 14

Have your older artists join us for a week-long adventure exploring the exciting world of art!  Art camp introduces a variety of art forms including projects with painting, sculpture, drawing and more.  Artists will have a blast during this three hour imaginative class allowing their creativity to grow.  See below for this year’s themes:

Mini Art Camp

Ages 3 ½ to 6

Have your littlest Picassos don their smocks and have your campers join us for a week of art play! Your preschoolers and kindergarteners will enjoy using their imaginations as they create works of art with different mediums, textures, colors and scents–and parents will have keepsakes to last a lifetime! 

*Campers must be potty trained

MED School Camp: Vet School!

Ages  7 to 14

Have your future Veterinarians join us for a week of medical science!

Campers will get to explore animal biology through dissections, experiment with medical instruments, care for wounds and injuries, learn about medical terminology, and practice sterile techniques.  The week will include suturing, blood typing, learning how to make a cast and propagating our own bacteria colonies!  Each camper will get to take home their own “pet” (don’t worry parents–it’s a stuffed animal!) at the end of the week.

The Science of Nintendo Camp

Ages 7 to 14

Join Mario, Luigi, Link and Zelda for a week of fantastic STEAM based Nintendo adventures! 

Each day will focus on a different game including building go-carts for our own Mario Kart race and crafting their own Poltergeists from Luigi’s Mansion to go ghost hunting! Campers will build homes Animal Crossing style while learning about circuits and constructing their own bows, arrows, and slingshots for our end-of-the-week Zelda quest.

May the 4th Be With You Camp–A Star Wars Themed Adventure*

Ages 7 to 14

Long ago in a galaxy far, far away your campers will have an out-of-this-world adventure during this week’s Star Wars-themed camp!

  Kids will construct their own sabers and pods.  They will participate in a pod race as well as build and code their own droids to send on important missions.  For the week’s finale, campers will battle each other as well as other special guests!  They will earn intergalactic credits to spend at the space trading post.  Have your space warriors bring their own robes or they can borrow one from us.

8 Bit Adventures: A Minecraft Themed Camp

Ages 3 1/2 to 6

Utilizing LEGO sets from Minecraft, campers will build their favorite 8 bit worlds and characters from one of the most popular video game franchises of all time! 

They will problem solve and create inventions from cardboard making their own skins, diamond swords and shields.  We will explore Minecraft’s biomes and mobs throughout the week.  As a finale, campers will build and create their own Minecraft themed stop-motion animated movies from LEGO.  Parents are welcome to join us for the film showcase at the end of the week.

Claremont School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Ages 7 to 14

Professor Robin Gomez invites your witches and wizards to join us for a week of magic and adventure!

From the chemistry behind potions class to the care, handling, and biology of magical beasts, your campers will be immersed in the world of witches and wizards.  Magic, mystery, delicious treats, science, and art will all be a part of your camper’s daily activities.  Campers will take home their own brooms, wands, owls, potion bottles and handbooks.  Have your witches and wizards bring their own wizard robes from home or robes can be borrowed from us.

Trainer Battle Academy: A Pokémon Themed Camp

Ages 7 to 14

Calling all Pokémon lovers!

Join us for a week of trainer adventures.  Trainers will learn about Pokémon biology and biomes from our resident Professors.  Card tournaments, themed foods, and crafts will be some of the activities provided during this week-long camp.  Your young trainers will test their skills and earn various gym badges and have an opportunity to “catch them all”!  We will also be playing Pokémon Go, learning the basics of the card game, and having opportunities to battle our friends during video game tournaments.  Children will take home their own trainer hat, gloves, and a booster pack of cards!  Requirements: children must bring a cellular phone with data in order to participate in Pokémon Go at the end of the week.  They must bring their Nintendo Switch in order to participate in the video game tournament.  Children bringing their own trading cards is highly encouraged!

Imposter Hunters! An Among Us-Themed Camp

Ages 7 to 14

Can your camper discover who the imposter is before it’s too late?  Everyone is sus in this week-long Among Us adventure, where campers will create their own space suits complete with accessories, complete STEM-based tasks including building circuits and coding robots in order to rescue their ships and attempt to figure out who the Imposter is before they get caught!

Dungeons and Dragons Camp

Ages 7 to 14 

Adventure awaits this summer where your children will have the opportunity to delve into mystery and fun in the world’s greatest role playing game: Dungeons and Dragons!  Mornings will be spent creating, where campers will craft and paint their own minis and terrains, dice boxes, dice jails and towers.  Afternoons will be spent playing in immersive worlds found only in campers imaginations where the dice determine their fate!  Children must be able to read and write in order to attend.

Shark Week!

Ages 7 to 14 

Take a bite out of science with Science Camp’s Shark Week!

Combining science, pool time and fun, campers will get to experience the elusive world of sharks by wearing their very own shark fins, eating shark and ocean themed treats and learning all about the anatomy, biology and ecology of the world’s most iconic oceanic predator.  Children will participate in a shark dissection and create their own underwater dioramas.  Have your scientists wear their swimsuits during this week of Science Camp because they will get wet!  (Children must wear their swimsuits under their clothes).

Mermaid Camp

Ages 7 to 14

Let your campers put their best fin forward in this aquatic mermaid adventure!  During this week-long camp, your mermaid will have the opportunity to swim in a real mermaid tail, learn mermaid tricks, and play mermaid games all under the summer sun.  Mermaid crafts, food, and aquatic activities will be provided.  By the end of the week, mermaids will get to visit the Mermaid Salon and get their pictures taken “under the sea” completing their mermaid transformations!

Requirements: swimmers must possess basic front crawl and backstroke technique independently without a floatation device.  Participants must come in their bathing suits.  Fins will be provided.  Instructors will be in the water with children at all times.

Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Mini Mermaid Camp

Ages 3 ½ to 6

A Mermaid Camp for our littlest mermaids!  This camp will focus on fun with a fin and friends.  Mermaid food, games and art that all mermaids love will be a part of this aquatic adventure.  Mini mermaids will meet at the wading pool where they will learn how to float, wiggle and move just like a real mermaid. Mermaid makeovers and photos will be a part of the fun!  Fins will be provided.  Requirements: children must come in their swimsuits and be potty trained.  Instructors will be in the water with the children at all times.
Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

A Few More Details

Registration forms, payment, emergency contact information, and signed waivers are due at 4:00 pm on Wednesday prior to the week camp starts.  A non-refundable late registration fee of $65 will apply if received after this time.  The late registration fee cannot be waived.  In our Education and Specialty Camps, it is recommended that your child(ren) wear clothing appropriate for getting messy and stained.  All Education and Specialty Camps (except for Mermaid Camps) check in and out at MPS (Multi Purpose Studio).  Contact us if you have any questions at campregistration@claremontclub.com.
