Art Camp

Ages 7 to 14

Have your older artists join us for a week-long adventure exploring the exciting world of art!  Art camp introduces a variety of art forms including projects with painting, sculpture, drawing and more.  Artists will have a blast during this three hour imaginative class allowing their creativity to grow.  See below for this year’s themes: 

THE WORLD IS YOUR CANVAS!
Utilizing the art supplies that mother nature has to offer, we will create beautiful art pieces honoring the world that brings so much life and color to our lives. 
Offered week 5 (July 5th – July 8th), Monday through Friday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. 

SURF, SAND & SUN
Soak in the summertime bliss with art projects all about your camper’s favorite summer activities.  From camping and hiking to beach trips and swimming, artists will have an amazing time creating projects that give them that summer feeling.  
Offered week 8 (July 25th – July 29th), Monday through Friday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

PERLER BEAD CREATIONS
Have your crafters join us on a pixelated adventure!  We will create some of your camper’s favorite characters, wearable art, and so much more all with this classic plastic melting art medium.  
Offered week 10 (August 8th – August 12th), Monday through Friday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. 

WILD IMAGINATION!
Your artists will learn that art is only limited by their imagination in this fun and exploratory art camp.  They will create art pieces utilizing some of the most imaginative characters from myth and legend including fairies, pixies and dragons.  Artists will have a blast and let their imaginations run wild!
Offered week 12 (August 22nd – August 26th), Monday through Friday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

 

Mini art camp

Ages 3 ½ to 6

Have your littlest Picassos don their smocks!  Have your campers join us for a week of art play. Your preschoolers and kindergarteners will enjoy using their imaginations as they create works of art with different mediums, textures, colors and scents–and parents will have keepsakes to last a lifetime!  This year’s theme is “Art Around the World”.  Little artists will learn about different cultures and countries as they explore the art of our diverse and wonderful planet. 
Offered week 6 (July 11th – July 15th), Monday through Friday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Claremont’s School of Witchcraft & Wizardry Full Day Camp

Ages  7 to 14

Professor Robin Gomez invites your witches and wizards to join us for a week of magic and adventure!  From potions class to the care and handling of magical beasts, your campers will be immersed in the world of witches and wizards.  Magic, mystery and delicious treats will all be a part of your camper’s daily activities.  Campers will take home their own brooms, wands, owls and potions handbooks.  Have your witches and wizards bring their own wizard robes from home or robes can be purchased for an additional fee.  This week-long, full day adventure allows your child to be immersed in one of their favorite literary worlds. This full day camp includes lunch. 
Offered week 9 (August 1st – August 5th), Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Dungeons and Dragons Camp

Ages 7 to 14

Adventure awaits this summer where your children will have the opportunity to delve into mystery and fun in the world’s greatest role playing game: Dungeons and Dragons! Campers will create their own characters, paint their own minis and explore worlds where the dice determine their fate!  All campers will receive their very own dice set and dice tray. Children must be able to read and write in order to attend.
Offered week 8 (July 25th – 29th), Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Intergalactic Bootcamp Full Day Camp

Ages 7 to 14

During this week of space drama and adventure, campers will practice dexterity honing skills including the use of sabers, defensive techniques, and meditation.  Completing their steps in training, campers will construct their own sabers and pods.  They will participate in a pod race as well as build and code their own droids to send on important missions.  For the week’s finale, campers will battle each other as well as other special guests!.  They will earn intergalactic credits to spend at the space trading post.  Have your space warriors bring their own robes or one can be purchased from camp at an additional fee.  This all day camp includes lunch.
Offered week 4 (June 27th – July 1st), Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Mini Intergalactic Bootcamp

Ages 3 1/2 to 6

This miniaturized version of our Intergalactic Bootcamp is not short on adventure or fun!  Mini space warriors will build their own sabers, explore distant worlds and galaxies and get to enjoy space themed treats.  For the week’s finale, campers will battle each other as well as other special guests!.  They will earn intergalactic credits to spend at the space trading post.  Have your space warriors bring their own robes or one can be purchased from camp at an additional fee.
Offered week 2 (June 13th – June 17th), Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Stop Motion Animation Studio: Jurassic Tales

Ages 7 to 14

Encouraging creativity, imagination, and storytelling in your child, Stop Motion Animation Camp will bring out your child’s inner “film maker”.  Utilizing LEGO Education’s Story Starters and Build to Express sets, your child will create miniature worlds for their mini-figures to live in and explore.  They will learn about the elements of storytelling, storyboarding, and create their very own stop-motion animated movies. This year’s theme is dinosaurs!  At the end of the week, we will have a movie “premiere” party where your children will showcase their films complete with refreshments.
Offered week 11 (August 15th – August 19th), Monday through Friday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

STEM Builders: 8 Bit Adventures

Ages 7 to 14

Utilizing LEGO sets from Minecraft and Mario, campers will build their favorite 8 bit worlds and characters from some of the most popular video game franchises currently available!  They will problem solve and create inventions from LEGO and LittleBits Magnetic Circuit sets to defeat villains, monsters and bad-guys–all while having fun doing it.
Offered week 7 (July 18th – July 22nd), Monday through Friday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Mermaid Camp

Ages 7 to 14

Let your campers put their best fin forward in this aquatic mermaid adventure!  During this week-long camp, your mermaid will have the opportunity to swim in a real mermaid tail, learn mermaid tricks, and play mermaid games all under the summer sun.  Mermaid crafts, food, and aquatic activities will be provided.  By the end of the week, mermaids will get to visit the Mermaid Salon and get their pictures taken “under the sea” completing their mermaid transformations!  Requirements: swimmers must possess basic front crawl and backstroke technique independently without a floatation device.  Participants must come in their bathing suits.  Fins will be provided.  Instructors will be in the water with children at all times.
Offered weeks 1 (June 6th – June 10th), 2 (June 13th – June 17th), 10 (August 8th – August 12th), 11 (August 15th – August 19th), 12 (August 22nd – August 26th), and 13 (August 29th – September 2nd). Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Mini Mermaid Camp

Ages 3 ½ to 6

A Mermaid Camp for our littlest mermaids!  This camp will focus on fun with a fin and friends.  Mermaid food, games and art that all mermaids love will be a part of this aquatic adventure.  Mini mermaids will meet at the wading pool where they will learn how to float, wiggle and move just like a real mermaid. Mermaid makeovers and photos will be a part of the fun!  Fins will be provided.  Requirements: children must come in their swimsuits and be potty trained.  Instructors will be in the water with the children at all times.
Offered weeks 1 (June 6th – June 10th), 2 (June 13th – June 17th), 10 (August 8th – August 12th), 11 (August 15th – August 19th), 12 (August 22nd – August 26th), and 13 (August 29th – September 2nd). Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Pocket Monster Training Academy

Ages 7 to 14

Calling all Pocket Monster lovers!  Join us for a week of Pocket Monster adventures.  Card tournaments, themed foods, and crafts will be some of the activities provided during this week-long camp.  Your young trainers will test their skills and earn various gym badges and have an opportunity to “catch them all”!  We will also be playing Pokemon Go, learning the basics of the card game, and have opportunities to battle our friends during video game tournaments.  Children will take home their own trainer hat, gloves and a booster pack of cards!  Requirements: children must bring a cellular phone with data in order to participate in Pokemon Go at the end of the week.  They must bring their Nintendo Switch in order to participate in the video game tournament.  Children bringing their own trading cards is highly encouraged!

Science Camp

Ages 7 to 14 

This half day camp offers action packed science fun for kids!  From survival science, microbiology, human biology and chemistry experiments, our safe and exciting programs will inspire future scientists to ask questions, investigate and explore the world around them.  Science will be brought to your campers first hand through hands-on learning, projects and experiments engaging and inspiring them to become future scientists.  Each week offers a different scientific subject.  See below for our themes: 

 

Wilderness Survival Camp

Your budding scientists will learn all about wilderness survival and the natural world during this engaging week of camp.  From creating fire to surviving in extreme conditions as well as learning different methods of obtaining water, your children will be prepared when a natural disaster hits.  Camp comes complete with their very own survival kits, and end of the week hike and hot s’mores will all be a part of the fun!
Offered week 3 (June 20th – June 24th), Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. 

 

Cool Chemistry

Have your future scientists don their lab coats and their goggles for this amazing adventure in chemistry science!  Children will get to experiment with the cool side of chemistry as they conduct investigations into the structure of ice, create endothermic reactions and enjoy some “dry ice” ice cream all while learning about the chemistry behind the fun. Offered week 5 (July 5th – July 8th), Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. 

 

MED School Camp

Have your future medical professionals join us for a week of medical science! Campers will get to explore some of the careers that the medical field has to offer by experimenting with medical instruments, caring for wounds and injuries, learning about medical terminology, and practicing sterile techniques.  The week will include suturing, blood typing, learning how to make a cast and propagating our own bacteria colonies!
Offered week 6 (July 11th – 15th), Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. 

 

Magical Mythology Camp

Calling all monster hunters!  Children will study the biology, ecology and anatomy of some of the world’s most famous mythical creatures including krakens, leprechauns, fairies, dragons and elusive unicorns.  We will build traps utilizing the six simple machines of physics and create our own mythical creatures to take home utilizing MakeDo cardboard construction sets.  Who knows what magical beings we will encounter! 
Offered week 7 (July 18th – July 22nd), Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. 

 

Shark Week!

Take a bite out of science with Science Camp’s Shark Week!  Combining science, pool time and fun, campers will get to experience the elusive world of sharks by wearing their very own shark fins, eating shark and ocean themed treats and learning all about the anatomy, biology and ecology of the world’s most iconic oceanic predator.  Have your scientists wear their swimsuits during this week of Science Camp because they will get wet!  (Children must wear their swimsuits under their clothes).  
Offered week 10 (August 8th – August 12th), Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. 

 

The Science of Animal Crossing!

Science camp explores this popular game by allowing campers to delve into the scientific discoveries behind Tom Nook and friends!  During this “belltastic” camp, campers will learn how to plant their own fruits and vegetables and try out some delicious recipes made with them, they will create their own bug collections and go on a bug hunt, and they will learn all about fossils and take home their own fossil collection that would make Blathers proud! 
Offered week 11 (August 15th – August 19th), Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

 

MAD Science 

During this week, we will revisit some of our most loved experiments from not only this summer but from the entire course of Science Camp. Campers will get to experiment with the “Magical, Amazing and most Delightful” projects from our nearly ten year history of sharing our love of science!  
Offered week 13 (August 29th – September 2nd), Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Mini Science Camp

Ages 3 ½ to 6

Have your miniature scientists join us for an adventure filled week of science!  Little ones will get hands-on experience with animals, sharks, nature and biology.  It will be a week of messy, exciting fun that will stimulate your camper’s curiosity and ingenuity.  Children must be potty trained.  Please send them to camp in well-loved clothes.  Please see below for our themes: 

 

VET School

During this engaging week of a Mini Science Camp, your little veterinarians will explore the world of pet medicine!  They will receive their own pet puppy or kitten to take care of and perform medical procedures on throughout the week.  They will learn how to properly take care of their pets by creating feeding schedules, making food, creating a home and bed, and learning all the skills of responsible pet ownership! 
Offered week 1 (June 6th – June 10th), Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.  

 

Shark Week!

Take a bite out of science with this amazing science camp that incorporates pool play, education and fun!  Mini scientists will learn all about shark biology and their habitats while getting a chance to swim just as the sharks do complete with shark fins! Requirements: children must come in their swimsuits and be potty trained.  Instructors will be in the water with the children at all times. 
Offered week 12 (August 22nd – 26th), Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Registration forms, payment, emergency contact information and signed waivers are due at 4:00 pm on Wednesday prior to the week camp starts.  A non-refundable late registration fee of $60 will apply if received after this time.  The late registration fee cannot be waived.  In our Education and Specialty Camps, it is recommended that your child(ren) wear clothing appropriate for getting messy and stained.  All Education and Specialty Camps check in and out at the Specialty Camp room of the Stone Club House.  Contact us if you have any questions at campregistration@claremont.com.
