Program/Class Descriptions
Active
A complete workout designed for anyone needing a low impact routine. Designed to accommodate rehab athletes to the mature active adult.
Amped
Modeled after the Insanity and P90X workouts– these classes are designed to crush those calories and get you in shape in no time.
Aqua
Water reduces the impact on bones & joints & is a great resistive tool for muscle work. We use both shallow & deep water for our workouts for a more cardio based workout and also incorporate buoys and noodles for added resistance and floatation.
Barre
This class utilizes small props and the ballet barre to get you heart pumping & a toned tushy!
Basic Training
Come prepared to run, crawl, push up, sit up and more with calisthenics and athletics and athletic drills at this boot camp style class.
Body Shop
Group Exercise strength training class using a variety of equipment; barbells, free weights, tubing, etc. Sign up at the Front Desk 75 minutes prior to class for Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday.
Cardio Tennis
A high energy outdoor fitness class that delivers the ultimate, full body, calorie burning aerobic workout. Fun class for all ability levels taught by one of our own tennis pros. No tennis experience necessary and equipment provided.
CSI
A cardio/strength combination alternating strength exercises with high intensity cardio drills incorporating one or more of the following: hi/lo, step, BOSU.
Cycling
A high energy cycling class for our weekend warriors.
Cycling - Endurance
Strength training involves steady, consistent pedaling with heavy resistance. These rides promote muscular, and cardiovascular development working at or just above threshold. Suitable for all levels.
Cycling - Interval
These rides train the body to be more efficient in metabolizing fat, and to maintain comfortable pace for extended period. Recommended for beginners.
Cycling - Strength
Are all terrain sessions working to develop cardiovascular system, and its ability to recover quickly. Typical rides will include flats, hills, acceleration drills, and recovery.
Deep Hatha
This class is designed to take you through strong traditional practice, ending with a soft relaxation. Beginning with deep breathing an a clear intention, we will move slowly and powerfully into traditional yoga postures. You will learn to become calm and steady through your own breath while in the depths of your practice. Open for students of all levels!
DYBO
This fat burning class is designed to make your body move in ways that will target your glutes along with all your other muscles and you won’t feel a thing because you’ll be having too much fun! This class welcomes all fitness levels.
Gentle Yoga
Gentle Yoga is a combination of postures coordinates with the breath, performed at a gentle pace which allows time to be present in each pose. This class provides the opportunity to explore your practice, to find the playtime between strength and flexibility, stability and ease, and to gain a greater understanding of physical alignment and balance.
Hard-Core

Hatha Yoga
The Sanskrit word “Hatha” is a combination of “ha” meaning sun and “tha” meaning moon. Hatha Yoga brings the masculine active energy (represent by the sun) and the feminine, receptive energy (represented by the moon) into balance in the body. Hatha classes focus on creating this balance. By taking time in each asana pose), a deeper understanding of the postures develops. Heat, strength and focus are balanced with gentle opening and letting go in the body. Hatha classes are perfect for the practitioner who prefers slow, steady and specific instructions and appreciate being given time to move more completely and thoughtfully in and out of each posture.
Healthy Back Yoga
Moves the members through a series of poses to strengthen and align the muscles that support the spine. This class is alignment based to help improve posture, relieve symptoms of back pain, and to help balance the mind. The poses in this class are typically help for 5 to 15 breaths, with an emphasis on building strength and mobility. This class is appropriate for all members.
Kundalini Yoga
Kundalini Yoga uses breath, posture and meditation to help each individual develop their mental and physical condition. The practice uniquely targets the nervous system, glands, mental faculties and chakras to create a whole mind/body workout/ Each class begins with a spinal warm up, continues with an exercise set to work a specific area of our mind and body and then concludes with meditation.
Matrix
Total body strength and conditioning using movement patterns to pre-fatigue certain muscles in order to target others. Challenging, creative, and effective.
Meditation
Class will consist of a variety of restorative postures and a guided meditation designed to help you slow down, de-stress, and nourish yourself.
All levels are welcomed!
On the Minute
An intense full body workout. Each exercise is a minute. Variety, fun, and challenging workout.
Pilates
Become aware of the basic principles of body alignment critical to the Pilates workout. Exercises workout and prepare the body for core strength & endurance.
Power Yoga Express
Restorative Yoga
Restorative Yoga is an excellent pathway to quiet the mind and calm the body. With the use of props such as blocks. Bolsters and blankets, restorative postures release tension and encourage surrender into a deeper sense of relaxation and stillness. Restorative yoga classes are perfect for all ages, all levels, of experience and stages of flexibility.
Rise & Shine Yoga
An invigorating series of Sun Salutations and yoga postures tailored to your morning body. This class is designed to help you transition from a waking state into your day by warming & opening every muscle & joint in your body. Leave feeling centered, focused & energized! Better than a double latte!
Step Up n' Get Down
Come and get down on ad around the step with some funky beats. All levels welcome, step is optional.
Sunset Yoga
Experience the rhythm of the day by allowing your yoga practice to wind down. This class will help you de-stress your mind and deeply relax your body while increasing flexibility and strength. Open level and great for everyone!
Taiji Fit
Mind/body workout that combines the best of traditional Taiji (TaiChi) with modern western fitness for any age or fitness level.
TKO
A powerful cardio workout which includes athletic drills and heavy bag work. Sure to get you sweating. Boxing gloves are not provided, but recommended.
U-Jam
Takes you around the world from Bollywood to Hip-Hop with an athletic cardio dance workout designed to burn calories, tone your body and leave you begging for more!
Vinyasa Yoga
Vinyasa yoga is a series of postures, one flowing seamlessly into the next, uniting body, mind, and breath. Designed as a moving meditation, every Vinyasa class is unique. Creating the opportunity to become stronger, more flexible and balanced, while practicing being present in the moment.
Zumba
A Latin based dance and rhythm class designed to tone and sculpt your body! This class is loads of fun and will have you dripping with sweat!
