Lose Weight, Tone Up and Get in Shape! The Claremont Club offers more than 100 group exercise classes per week to meet your fitness needs. With the variety of classes that we offer we are certain there is an appropriate class for you, whatever your fitness level may be. Whether you want cardio, toning or a little of both, you'll find what you need with our phenomenal selection of classes. If jumping around and pumping iron is just not your thing, try some of our lower impact classes. Think you can't get long, lean muscles without lifting weights? Nonsense! Try one of our mat Pilates, Barre, Yoga or Aqua classes which are designed to increase mobility, core strength, balance and range of motion. Maybe you want to burn more calories by taking a cardio and/or conditioning class, then perhaps a body shop or indoor cycling class is the right fit for you. Other fitness facilities pale in comparison to the dynamic diversity, unparalleled instruction and overall experience offered at TCC.

Gain flexibility to increase range of motion and agility which helps to prevent injury. Learn breath control to increase endurance and stamina. Build upper body strength, consistently bearing your own body weight. Increase focus on a subconscious level resulting in calculated decisions ultimately taking any sport to the next level.

Yoga is a body-centered practice of ancient postures and breathing techniques designed to increase flexibility, improve muscle strength and endurance, while you balance mind, body, and spirit. Incorporating Yoga training methods into one's workout is becoming an important component to achieving overall health. The Claremont Club offers a variety of styles of Yoga, Gentle, Healthy Back, Vinyasa, Hatha, Kundalini and a Power Yoga Express. Please make sure to check our current schedule to view what is now being offered.
In addition to our group Yoga classes, the Claremont Club's Certified Yoga Teachers offer workshops, one-on-one training and small private group yoga classes in series.These types of training offer a more hands-on approach to deepen your yoga practice or special needs.

Recommendations:Let the instructor know of any physical limitations or conditions.Practice on an empty stomach or 2-3 hours after a meal.Bring your own Yoga mat if you have one. (May be purchased at the Front Desk.) Feel free to bring a cotton or wool blanket for your comfort & warmth.We recommend all individuals new to Yoga arrive 10 minutes early to meet with the instructor.
Benefits of attending yoga classes at The Claremont Club include its central location to the greater Los Angeles and Inland Empire area. Being just minutes away from San Bernardino, Rancho Cucamonga, San Dimas, Montclair, Pomona, La Verne and other cities, makes our yoga studio a prime location for those looking to join a local gym.
The Claremont Club offers 16 indoor cycling classes weekly with four different rotating formats, including endurance, interval and strength and a 90 minute tempo ride so that you can always find the type of ride to fit your fitness goals and your schedule.
Our Keiser Indoor Bikes are equipped with state-of-the-art cycling computers, which track your ride and display information such as cadence, watts exerted, and calories burned. Cycling shoes are not necessary, although many prefer them to make their ride more efficient and powerful.
If you choose to use cycling shoes, our Keiser bikes utilize SPD clips.
Cycling Studio Dos and Don'ts
Be on time. Entering a class in progress more than 10 minutes late is not recommended.
Do not enter the classroom before the current class is finished. Reserving bikes is not permitted.
There is a direct correlation between your energy and your neighbor's ride. If you want to do your own thing, please do not ride in the front row.
Be considerate of other members' exercise and space. Keep conversations to a minimum.
Please be aware of personal hygiene and refrain from wearing perfume and cologne.

There are many benefits associated with water aquatic exercise. The buoyancy and resistance of water allow less-used muscles in your body to get a workout, which helps improve overall muscle tone. Aqua classes also improve cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, coordination, muscular strength, and endurance.
Regardless of your fitness level, you can get a great workout in the water. Your instructor will offer modifications to increase or decrease the difficulty of the moves, and you’re always free to go at your own pace. Since most moves are performed under water you may find that you can be more focused on the movements when you don't have to worry about keeping up with everyone else.
Aqua can help improve your performance in high-impact activities. Thanks to the buoyancy of water, you’ll be strengthening your muscles and improving your cardiovascular fitness without subjecting your body to additional wear and tear, leaving you feeling strong and refreshed when it’s time to give your all.
Aquatic exercise is also fantastic for people recovering from injuries. It allows you to strengthen your muscles without stressing vulnerable joints, balance out muscle groups that may have become uneven through repetitive actions.
Our Group Aqua classes are held in our Outdoor Family Pool so we recommend you wear a hat, sunglasses sunscreen for our morning classes.
