August 26 -Yoga for Hips, Hamstrings & Quads
This workshop is designed to open the muscles of the hips, to safely stretch and strengthen the hamstrings and quadriceps.  Breath, movement and focused awareness will be used to bring focused awareness to bring ease and openness to the body.

October 28 - Core Support for Arm Balances
In this playful workshop, we will bring mindfulness and proper alignment to create the upper body strength and core support necessary for successful arm balances.

Group Exercise

Lose Weight, Tone Up and Get in ShapeThe Claremont Club, offers more that 100 group exercise classes to meet your fitness needs. Whether you want cardio, toning or a little of both, you'll find what you need with out phenomenal selection on classes. Other fitness facilities pale in comparison to the dynamic diversity, unparalleled instruction and overall experience offered at TCC. Comecise Classes check out one of our many classes: you're new "addiction" is waiting! We are certain there is an appropriate class for you. Whatever your fitness level may be. Low and No Impact Class Options

If jumping around and pumping iron is just not your thing, try some of our lower impact classes. Think you can't get long, lean muscles without lifting weights? Nonsense! Try one of our mat Pilates, Barre, yoga and aqua classes. All of which are designed to increase mobility, core strength, balance and range of motion. Maybe you want to burn more calories by taking a cardio and/or conditioning class. Then perhaps a body shop or indoor cycling class is the right fit for you. 

Yoga

Why Yoga at the Claremont Club ?
Yoga is a body-centered practice of ancient postures and breathing techniques designed to increase flexibility, improve muscle strength and endurance, while you balance mind, body and spirit. Incorporating Yoga training methods into one's workout is becoming an important component to achieving overall health. Yoga was meant to be practiced one-on-one with an instructor. It wasn't until yoga came to the West that it was taught in classes. The Claremont Club's Group Exercise department offers one-on-one and small private group Personal Training with certified Yoga Instructors.

Benefits of attending yoga classes at The Claremont Club include its central location to the greater Los Angeles and Inland Empire area. Being just minutes away from San Bernardino, Rancho Cucamonga, San Dimas, Montclair, Pomona, La Verne and other cities, makes our yoga studio a prime location for those looking to join a local gym.

The Claremont Club offers a variety styles of Yoga, Gentle, Easy Flow, Healthy Back, Vinyassa, Hatha Kundalini and a Power Yoga Express.

The Claremont Club's Registered Yoga Teachers also offer small private group yoga classes in series. These series offer yoga training with a more hands-on approach to deepen your yoga practice or special needs. Get the benefits of yoga personal training by joining a 4- 8 week small private group limited to 3-8 participants These classes require a fee.

Yoga Studio Etiquette

If a class has started, please wait to enter until you see eyes open and bodies moving.
Enter barefoot.
Silence your phone.
Let the instructor know of any physical limitations or conditions.

Please make sure to check our current schedule to view what is now being offered.

Recommendations:
Practice on an empty stomach or 2-3 hours after a meal.
Bring your own Yoga mat if you have one. (May be purchased at the Front Desk.)
Feel free to bring a cotton or wool blanket for your comfort & warmth.
We recommend all individuals new to Yoga arrive 10 minutes early to meet with the instructor.

Cycling

The Claremont Club offers 18 indoor cycling classes weekly with four different rotating formats, including endurance, strength, interval and race day, so that you can always find the type of ride to fit your fitness goals and your schedule.

Our state-of-the-art Keiser Indoor Bikes are equipped with state-of-the-art cycling computers, which track your ride and display information such as cadence, watts exerted, and calories burned. Cycling shoes are not necessary, although many prefer them to make their ride more efficient and powerful.

If you choose to use cycling shoes, our Keiser bikes utilize SPD clips.

Cycling Studio Dos and Don'ts

Be on time. Entering a class in progress more than 10 minutes late is not recommended.
Do not enter the classroom before the current class is finished. Reserving bikes is not permitted.
There is a direct correlation between your energy and your neighbor's ride. If you want to do your own thing, please do not ride in the front row.
Be considerate of other members' exercise and space. Keep conversations to a minimum.
Please be aware of personal hygiene and refrain from wearing perfume and cologne.
Silence your phone.

Let the instructor know of any physical limitations or conditions.
