The Claremont Club has 29 courts (22 lighted) and a vast array of programs for beginners to advanced levels. These include men’s and women’s weekly ladders, club socials, USTA teams and an outstanding junior program. We run and are the host site to many events ranging from Junior Satellite to Pro Circuit events. There are six full time teaching professionals on staff.

The Claremont Club Tennis Facilities

These include men's and women's weekly ladders, club socials, USTA teams and an outstanding junior program. USTA Pro Classic Futures Circuit Tournament

The USTA Pro Classic that is held at The Claremont Club each September is part of the USTA Pro Circuit Futures tour and is designed to showcase upcoming tennis talent. This tournament is one of the venues for players to earn points toward their professional rankings. Many players from this tournament also play in the US Open. One of the great aspects of this event is that it is also a venue for players to attempt to come back after falling in the rankings or absence from the pro tour.

Barry Friedman, the tournament director, points out that “these Pro Circuit events really are stepping stones to bigger and better things.” Whether players are trying to establish themselves as pro contenders or staging a possible comeback, this tournament is a place where good things happen. Past winners and participants in the event include Dmitry Tursunov, Bobby Reynolds, Taylor Dent, Carsten Ball, Dudi Sela and others. Eleven of the past 14 champions have gone on to become top 100 in the world. If you are a tennis fan or would like to become one, make sure to come out to watch next year’s Pro Classic! It is an opportunity to watch professional tennis in your own neighborhood.
