TCC Karate
The karate program at The Claremont Club offers traditional martial arts, kobudo and self defense programs for ages three to adult. Each session of instruction is taught by our certified black belt instructor Nurys Saldana.
Class Descriptions
Karate
A Traditional form of martial arts from Okinawa, Japan that consits of strikes with both hands and feet. Basic forms (Kata) and pre-sparring (self defense) are used to promote fitness and the ability to defend one's self. Benefits of karate include strength, flexability, self-confidence, concentration, self-awareness, improved physical fitness and more. Our Programm also features traditional weapons training that can help double your strength, enhance your coordination, and make you a superior empty-handed fighter.
Little Ninjas Ages 3-5
The Little Ninjas Program is a detailed curriculum that focuses on improving preschool-age children's basic motor and listening skills. They will become better students at school, better listeners at home and more ambitious towards the future. We specialize in teaching children and run discipline-oriented classes promoting listening, focus, teamwork, and fitness.
Little Dragons
For beginners and intermediate students, the TCC karate program offers one of the finest methods of physical and mental fitness. Students learn the traditional okinawan art of Isshin Ryu Karate from a school committed to excellence and customer service.
Black Belt Club
In order to qualify, students must be in the school for at least six months and be at least an orange belt. Students are accepted upon instructor recommendation.
Members of this prestigious club are entitled to many benefits. Among them are:
- Lowest cost on tuition
- Extra classes for members on material not covered in regular classes
- A special black uniform
- Certificate of membership to the Black Belt Club
- Black belt club patch and ID card
- Discounts on school sponsored events
Overall the objective of the Black Belt Club is to get the students more focused and committed to achieving their personal best and to achieve their black belts and beyond.
