"Preventative Maintenance"
has proven results for a healthier and happier lifestyle
The Claremont Club's Community Fitness Program for SCI injured clients is a collaborative effort between The Claremont Club, Casa Colina Centers for rehabilitation and The Be Perfect Foundation, a nonprofit organization helping heal others with spinal injuries. This program allows individuals with SCI to gain or maintain a level of fitness, to help promote health and create an atmosphere of camaraderie among people with similar experiences.
Clients will be evaluated by a licensed Physical Therapist from Casa Colina with expertise in treatment of SCI. After the initial evaluation an individualized fitness program will be established for each client. Club Trainers will then assist SCI clients while at the facility to ensure safety and to provide access to fitness equipment. This is a self directed program so clients will be encouraged to take an active role in progressing their fitness potential. The goal of this program is for clients to transition to an independent fitness program.
How to get started:
- Inform the Be Perfect Foundation that you want to enroll in the program by emailing them at beperfectfoundation.com.
- Once your application is received, it will be reviewed by The Be Perfect Foundation to determine your eligibility in the program.
- Upon acceptance into the program, you will be added to the waiting list.
- Once there is an opening in the program, you will be contacted by The Be Perfect Foundation and you will be directed to The Claremont Club for scheduling.
- The fee for this program will be different for each client. It is dependent on the number of trainers and frequency of sessions. Once you have met for your assessment with the Physical Therapist and discussed schedules, pricing will be set. Program fees are set by The Claremont Club and billed to The Be Perfect Foundation on a monthly basis.
