Seasonal Swim Instructor
MISSION
To teach safe, effective and fun swim lessons, adhering to the guidelines set forth by the Aquatics Director. Emphasize water safety and correct stroke technique. Represent the Club's swim program in a manner that is consistent, professional and supportive.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- To create and deepen relationships with members we know and do not yet know, that will add value to their membership, enhance their sense of belonging and sense of community within the club.
- Teach all lessons and classes as scheduled on a consistent and regular basis.
- Make your students' safety and enjoyment your number one priority.
- Make students feel successful and encourage future lessons.
- Encourage enjoyment of the water and water activities.
- Be available to substitute teach whenever possible.
- Convey warmth and genuine interest to the students: Make eye contact, smile use students' names.
- Commit to the position as a business professional.
- Know and follow all club and aquatics department policies and guidelines.
- Ensure all life-saving equipment is readily available and know proper use of such equipment.
- Achieve and maintain certifications needed for Private Swim Instructor; keep CPR certification current, and participate in continuing education in your profession.
- Adhere to all Club Standards, Policies and Procedures
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Aquatics Director

Personal Trainer
MUST be NSCA certified OR HOLD A 4 year degree in an Exercise Science field in order to apply.
The Club has openings for Personal Trainers who are degreed in a fitness field and/ or hold the NSCA certification. Applicants must have experience in the field of training and be able to sell their services. We are looking for outgoing, customer service oriented and self starters.
Mission
Help clients attain and maintain their personal health and fitness goals, in a professional, service-orientated manner, following medically sound protocols. To design customized, safe and effective exercise programs for clients, based on needs, goals, starting fitness level and existing medical conditions. Monitor progress and results, and make program adjustments as needed. Provide motivation, encouragement and education to clients. Promote personal training services and other fitness center programs by helping and interacting with members on the fitness floor. Stay current on the NSCA certification, CPR/AED & trends in fitness training and exercise science as well as actively pursue continuing education opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities
- To create and deepen relationships with Members we know and do not yet know that will add value to their membership, enhance their sense of belonging and sense of community within the Club.
- Develop a rapport with new clients and gather all information needed (fitness assessment results, relevant medical conditions or limitations, client interests, goals and needs, etc.) to properly design a personalized exercise program.
- Instruct clients in the proper usage of all fitness equipment, ensure good form and technique.
- Promote P.T. services by assisting and interacting with members on the fitness floor, and by participating as scheduled in personal training marketing opportunities such as Body Fat Testing, Health Fair Booths, New Member Orientation, etc....
- Promote other fitness and club services to clients and members.
- Set up training appointments with clients and always be prepared and on time for all sessions.
- Ensure that all training sessions are paid before providing services.
- Conduct training sessions with the "flow" of the fitness center, i.e., share machines when necessary; re-rack plates and dumbbells; follow time limits on cardio equipment during prime time, etc.
- Communicate regularly with client: during a sessions to gauge level of exertion and comfort, and after sessions to discuss progress, results and satisfaction.
- Attend required staff meetings and training seminars, and maintain required CEC's and certifications (NSCA, CPR, AED).
- Maintain records on each client: sessions contents, program adjustments, etc.
- Maintain an active client base (meet the Club's criteria for minimum number of clients per week).
- Stay knowledgeable in your field; seek continuing education opportunities; share new information with colleagues; keep P.T. certification current.
- Inform the Wellness Director of any equipment malfunctions or safety issues immediately.
- Adhere and enforce all Club standards, policies and procedures.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by Wellness Director.
